Rochester Radio Theatre Guild

Because I'm a geek, I grew up enjoying "old-time", "classic" radio programs like The Shadow, Green Hornet, The Lone Ranger, Superman, and Abbot & Costello. It's been a while but, I'm going to be in the upcoming shows over at Assembly of God Church that the Rochester Radio Theatre Guild is doing. Take a look at this -

Hope to see you there. It's gonna be a great, fun show!
A MORE Informed Voter

An INFORMED Voter
Wednesday 10-08-2008 9:16am CT
I think that it is important to be an informed voter. So, rather than follow all of the rhetoric of the so-called "news" media, I follow the candidates' appearances and parodies on Late Nite Television Programs. Because that's exactly where the hard, tough issues are hashed out. I just happened to be getting caught up on the serious issues, as I am wont to do, when I cam across this important piece of information about the 8% that are currently undecided in the election that is now less than one month away!

Now, the following contains some adult language that is edited to some degree; and is not for the squeemish. Especially Cubs fans. Of which I am one. Just click on the picture to find out more.

These Aren't The 'droids you're looking for...

I took my nephew, Matthew, to the state fairgrounds to the 20th annual fall comic book convention, and who do we run into - Darth Vader and his imperial troops!...And one of the sand people. Doesn't my mephew look like young Anakin Skywalker. The Force is strong in this one, mmmm.

He picked out his favorite Pokemon shirt just for the occasion!

Holy Flashback!
Wednesday 10-01-2008 12:59pm CT

So, The Dark Knight beat Iron Man at the box office. Maybe you didn't hear about that. Well, it did. DC beat Marvel. The big question now isn't who the next Bat-villain will be in the next sequel. No, the big question is, "Where's Robin?"

Well, the CW has the answer. According to Variety, Warner Bros. is working on a series called "The Graysons" that will look at Dick "DJ" Grayson, before he becomes The Boy Wonder. Kinda like how Smallville is all about Clark Kent before he suits up as Superman. Before he became a sidekick, Dick Grayson was a circus aerialist in The Flying Graysons. Think Crique de Soliel.
So, if you're wondering "Where's Robin?"

The CW's got you covered. Holy Flashback! Click on the link to the left there and check it out!
